AngelRide REMOTE June 3 – 4, 2023

AngelRide CLASSIC will start and finish at the Essex, CT Fire Department.
Choose from a Metric Century route, a 20-mile Anniversary route, or a 3-mile Halo AngelRide for all ages and abilities. All routes start and finish in Essex, CT. New this year, Class 1 E-bikes will be welcomed on the 20-mile route and the 3-mile route. We will hold a staggered start with the Metric Century riders heading out early morning, the 20-mile riders late morning, and the 3-mile riders in the afternoon. Nourishment and facilities are available at Rest Stops and our amazing volunteers provide unparalleled support along the route. Family & friends are welcome to cheer you on at the Start and join you at the Finish Line! A picnic, meet & greet with folks from the Children’s Burn Camp, fun activities, and entertainment will round out this exceptional day!

AngelRide REMOTE takes place over the weekend in a location of your choosing.
AngelRide REMOTE welcomes cyclists (indoor, outdoor, electric), mountain bikers, runners, and walkers. You choose the location, day(s), route, and distance. You decide whether to gather together or to participate individually. We will connect you with an AngelRide volunteer who will cheer you on via text and assist you in joining the fun PokerRide card game.

VOLUNTEERS are indispensable for all AngelRide events! We couldn’t do this without you! There are many choices for when and where you can help for both AngelRide CLASSIC and AngelRide REMOTE. Specific volunteer details can be found on the registration page.

We come together as a compassionate, resilient, open-hearted AngelRide community in support of the kids at The Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp. Together, our good work is multiplied!

Established in 1991, The Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp welcomes campers between the ages of 8-18 who have survived life-altering burn injuries. All campers attend free of charge. All counselors are volunteers including firefighters, EMT’s, medical professionals, and adult burn survivors. Whether you join in AngelRide in-person or in your hometown, we all can make a significant difference in the emotional and physical recovery of young burn survivors.
