In life “we’re really called not to dispel mystery but to abide it, to engage it.” says Joe Henry.
And so this is what I will practice today. I will not try to figure out why. Why do the 25 team leaders who make AngelRide, AngelRide do what they do knowing they will not get the cowbells ringing for them or see the Saturday night theater presentation, or have a massage after a long day, or even be recognized by a fellow AngelRide lover outside of the walls of Memorial Day weekend?
It’s a beautiful mystery. I will not only abide it, I will hold it up and let gratitude fill every cranny.
Today was the 12th Annual, First AngelRide Team Leader meeting. Get ready AngelRiders. It’s going to be another great year!
Welcome to Angel Ride’s first Blog article. This is the first of many to come. Like AngelRide, this belongs to you. Send me your stories. Share your poems, videos, photos, and drawings. Whatever tells your AngelRide story; share the mystery so we may all abide there.
